Your choice to make the Inca Trail 2 days and 1 night will take us through a beautiful landscape of high jungle, with a great variety of flora and fauna, ideal for those people or families who wish to share time together with a short walk of one level with medium difficulty that can be done as a family because it does not require much physical preparation, since it is only approximately 12 kilometers (7.5 miles) long and you can have a privileged view of Machupicchu.

Day 1:
The tour begins with the pick up from your hotel in Cusco or the sacred valley to go to the Ollantaytambo train station that will take us to Chachabamba at KM 104, a 1 hour and 30 minute journey where we can observe the change of vegetation.
A few minutes after starting the walk we will discover the archaeological site of Chachabamba, after an ascent for approximately four hours we will arrive at the archaeological site of Wiñayhuayna, at this point we will stop to have lunch and then continue for approximately two hours until we reach the Puerta del Sol or Intipunku, a place from where we can appreciate Machu Picchu with a privileged view to finally descend to take the bus to the hotel.
Day 2
In the morning at the time coordinated with your guide, we will leave the hotel and board the bus that will take us to the Inca llacta of Machu Picchu, considered the jewel of Inca architecture and engineering. We will see squares, neighborhoods, houses, barns, streets, observatories and more. Built on one of the flanks of the “old mountain”.
After the guided tour, we will return to the town of Aguas Calientes where you can have lunch at the restaurant of your choice (on behalf of pax) later in the afternoon take the train back to Ollantaytambo and then the transportation to your hotel in the Sacred Valley or Cusco.
